Every year there is another story. I'm glad we took down our pool. Not to say that I'd ever leave my son unattended by the pool but they just scare me...

I get so physically sick over these stories, especially that my 15 month old - LOVES the water. I get sooooo paranoid about pools, the ocean, even the tub

This is why we aren't getting a pool anytime soon. Scares me so much, there was that one story this summer of the toddler who got into the neighbor's pool. So sad.

This is why we aren't getting a pool anytime soon. Scares me so much, there was that one story this summer of the toddler who got into the neighbor's pool. So sad.
DH mentioned it - and I shot him down soooo fast.
And the other story was only in the next town over than this -- a little too close for comfort for me

my kids were pool safe before they could walk.
If they fell in for whatever reason they could get to the side of the pool.

My parents have a pool and huge backyard - things happen where someone thinks someone else is watching the kid... thats why, no matter how many people I think is watching Cailen, I will also always be the one watching him when we are there, or anywehere there is water....
