cycle update

I am back from RE today and it looks like after only 7 days of stimming I'm going to be doing my trigger (tomorrow night). I was not expecting it to be this quick. ER will most likely be on Friday. I go back to RE in the morning. It's funny because of all the waiting time and frustration, now its too fast. Life is funny!

I'm really stressing myself out because I only have 5 follies that are hopefully going to be good (18, 14.5, and 3 @ 14), my age is always hanging over me (and obvious by my follie results) and the POI shot.

I solved the POI shot. I really do not think I can do it myself. So, I found a clinic that is open 7 days a week a few blocks from where i live and for $20 a day they will do the shot for me. I used to spend $20 a day on nothing when I worked in the city. Now I am home and I do not spend a dime. I'm really relieved. and DH said he'd go with me and watch them and then maybe he'd get the courage to give it a try.

Update: I just got a call from a nurse who worked for one of the LI RE's and she's now working at a local gyno office in my town. She will come to my house to do the shot and teach DH. I'm so excited. She's done the shots for years.

Good luck! That's awesome you didn't have to stim for too long! I ended up stimming for 13 days!

I took my first PIO shot last night - my husband did it. Quite honestly - I think I might be able to do this myself.

But good for you finding someone...
