Cycle day three test question
If I got my period tonight, would cycle day three be on Wednesday to get the blood test?

It is usually counted from your first full flow day, so Thursday would be cycle day 3.

Well depending on how heavy your flow is today. If it's full flow you count today as day 1, if you are only spotting I would count tomorrow as day 1.

i would call the office and say my flow started at whatever time which day is considered my 3rd day

Today was a full flow that I got my period late this afternoon. From what I read, today is considered cycle day one, so I should get the blood test Wednesday. Am I right? I just want to make sure I test at the right time.

As long as you have full flow then today is Day 1 - some people spot or stain the first day and that is not considered a full AF.
go on Wednesday.

My doctor said that as long as full flow starts before 9pm, that day counts as Day 1. Wednesday would be your day 3.

My doctor told me anything after 5pm, the next day is the first cycle day. You should call the office to find out what they think.
