Cutting boards
i need to get a cutting board to carve a turkey on. what's a good cutting board to get. show me yours

for regular chopping up veggies/meat cutting boards, I love those white plastic ones.... just shove them in the dishwasher, and they're germ-free again
but for cutting up any roast or bird, it really is best to have one that has one of those llip edges so juices don't roll off of the board. I guess the next consideration is how big IS you bird? 12lbs, or 20?

Ours is from Bed, Bath & Beyond:
We primarily slice/carve meats & poultry on it.
I use the OXO Good Grips for everything else:
(I toss them in the dishwasher.)

The best cutting board are epicurean. They are low maintenance and do not get contaminated. I recently went to a cooking class where the instructor warned us of other materials that could trap bacteria (especially when you put them in the dishwasher - they expand and then trap the germs).
