Custom Window Treatments

Can anyone suggest someone or a business that will come to my home, give me a consultation and make my window treatents and NOT try to completely rip me off?!
I had 2 consultations, and for 2 windows they wanted $7500 and $9500....that was for silouettes and treatments....

I had balloon valances custom - $450/window.

Silhouettes - $500/window.

I picked out my own fabric from Fabric Mill though ($400 on that).

I used Mill End Shops in East Islip - they made me sign a waiver b/c I brought my own fabric. I think I paid $14.99/yd for my fabric. They told me how much I needed to get.

We bought the silhouettes from a friend at Sherwin Williams but we priced them out at Instant Verticals and The Blind Spot (Instant Verticals was less expensive).


What kind of windows do you have?

I know completely insane!!!
They are 2 larger than normal windows and that's why i thought i would need custom treatments in the first place.
They are both actually 3 large seperate windows in 1,
JUST for Hunter Douglas Silouettes(sp?) for the windows would be close to $5000($800 per window) that's NOT including the actual window treatments.
Add the fabric($32/yd),installation and taxes ,I guess that's where the ridiculous price comes in....which is way out of my price range.
I will def check out Fabric Mill and the place in E Islip, thank you for the suggestions!
