Custom blinds
DH and I have massive windows in our family room that have no blinds or shades on them or anything. On 1 wall the previous owners put in plantation shutters since that's the only side where you see into someone else's yard. DH and I can't afford to put them all over the rest of the room so we're thinking about roman shades or something.
Where do you suggest looking for them? Or is it best to call a place and have them come to your home with samples?
Btw, I'm in southern nassau.

We used Blinds and Beyond in Seaford. Dealt with Nicole.
We pretty much used her for our entire house. Real wood, faux wood, and silhouettes.

We just ordered blinds through Home Depot... We priced out Blinds to go, Lowes and HD and HD was the cheapest for the same products. They came to measure for us (free- but this was a special they were offering)
We bought Faux wood for our kitchen and Cellular shades for the bedroom and family room. We priced Romans for the living room but they were very $$$ so we decided to hold off or a bit....
Overall, HD was vry easy to deal with!!
