Curly Hair Questions
DD is 3 and has adorable curls and while they aren't wild or out of control (yet at least), I was just wondering if there are any special products you use in their hair to keep the curls looking nice and frizz free. My hair is straight/slightly wavy so this is all new to me

We use Ouidad shampoo, conditioner and spray gel for kids - works great!

Great, thanks. Where do you buy it?
I order it or pick it up directly from the salon, since I work just a few blocks from it. I signed up for their emails and they frequently have a coupon code and free shipping, so I buy a few bottles when they have a good sale.

Thank you for your responses. I will definitely be picking up some Ouidad (no idea how to pronounce that btw lol).
I have another question for you girls. I've been reading that it's best to let curly hair air dry. Is that what you do? I mean, now that the warmer weather is coming I don't see it being too much of an issue but what do you do in the winter? I would hate to leave her hair wet then.

Always only brush curly hair when it is wet and I always let it air dry. I always just make sure that it has enough time to dry before we are going out - DD still has baby hair (we haven't cut it because I know we will lose the curls when we do!) so it dries pretty quickly.

We only brush DD's hair when it's wet. Otherwise, we finger style it or wet it if necessary. I try to let her hair air dry as much as I can. There ARE times when we are in a rush and I don't want her out (especially when it's cold) with wet hair so I will blow-dry it at a low heat setting while gently scrunching it, but it's incredibly rare that I have to do this.

A good leave in conditioner will do the trick too - Ouidad is really expensive I have really curly hair myself and was disappointed w/ the products for the price.

what do you do with these products? You spray it on the curls when wet? Do you scrunch the hair with the gel?? DD also has VERY curly hair but it's not long yet (think Annie). Mine is straight and I have NO idea what to do with it. It's still growing up!! I usually put it in pigtails.

Curly Hair Questions
I just bought liquid rollers. Both DD and I have super curly hair. I blow mine straight but I am always lookin for a good product to use and DD I leave curly. Liquid rollers came highly recommended but I haven't used it yet.
