Curly Hair
If you have curly hair, do you wash it every day? I know you arent supposed to but I put a decent amount of product in it so what would I do if I skipped washing it for a day?
Brush the product out and put fresh product in? I would just have a huge afro if I brushed it.
And even though I wear a ponytail at night - I dont know what the heck goes on bc when I wake up , its a scary sight.

Re: Curly Hair
I know when my hair was curly (I do JHS now), I had to wash, condition and style my hair daily. I used to use a lot of product as well, although my hair never looked or felt as if I did. My main reason for doing my hair daily was because I woke up with frizzy, crazy curls and the only way to get them to look good again was by washing. Sometimes I could get away with a headband/scarf or ponytail, but I just always felt sloppy if I didn't wash it.

Re: Curly Hair
I wash my curly hair every day... I guess it's the daily product but it just wouldn't work if I didn't. And there's no way I can do it the night before and still be presentable the next morning (unless I straighten it).

Re: Curly Hair
Whatever you do NEVER brush curly hair!! Always just comb it when it is wet. I wash my hair daily....although some people use a spray bottle to dampen it and then put more product in.

Re: Curly Hair
One of the PITA parts of having curly hair is that, for me, it needs to be washed daily b/c slept on curls do NOT look good.
However, I would not shampoo it daily. Often, I would just wet it, maybe even condition it. But daily shampoo is a no-no for my hair.

same for me. no way I can sleep on it and have it look good (even if I shower at night, no go unless it's blown out straight). I just try not to shampoo every day, but always condition.

I do the same, I wet it as if I am going to wash it but condition it instead everyday, I shampoo 3 times a week.

Re: Curly Hair
I shower every day. Sometimes I wash it every day, occasionally I just condition. My hair is pretty fine, though, despite the fact that it's curly. I find that as long as I put the product in when my hair is soaking wet and let it air dry, it doesn't frizz, and I don't have split ends because I don't heat style.

Re: Curly Hair
I needed to wash my hair daily too when it was curly but instead of shampooing everyday I would shampoo every other day and then just use conditioner. I have had numerous hair stylists tell me this and have read it too. I will do it now sometimes since my hair isn't curly anymore too sometimes(hormone changes after kids).

Re: Curly Hair
I wet and use conditioner every day, but I wash only every 4th day. So, if I was my hair Monday morning, my next wash is Thursday morning. My hair also doesn't look good the day I wash it so i make sure I do it on the day I don't have any social acitvities and just wear it in a bun or ponytail all day.
