Curious... Has anyone....
Has anyone bought anything baby related that they are just holding on to for when the time comes?
GUILTY here... My friend who is also going through IVF said buying baby clothes helps her get through tough times... Needless to say, I have more yellow and green floating around my house than I would like to admit.

I bought this adorable little ballerina outfit for my niece when she was born, and it was just around the time I had a CP. I just couldn't part with it, so it's sitting in my closet waiting for a baby girl to wear it

Gah, more power to you girls for doing absolutely anything that helps you cope and keep hope.
Me? I bought a baby blanket to reveal to DH that I was pregnant when I had my first loss 3 years ago. We didn't know what to do with it after that, and it was just hanging around the house. HAUNTED me day and night. I gave it to a friend when she had her baby as a gift.
Since then, no baby stuff in the house.

I haven't bought anything but my SIL gave me all of my Nieces and nephews baby clothes to keep. My mother thinks I should get them out of our house(she's very superstitious) as if they are the reason we haven't gotten pregnant yet! They are in a closet in the spare room right now

Curious... Has anyone....
Dh is a huge racing fan. I had found little baby socks with racing stuff al over them. at the time we had been trying for a year and i was so down about it. i bought them and hid them and promised myself that one day, my child would wear them, whether it was a boy or girl.
I can't wait to put them on my LO come winter! It definately helped me to give me something to look forward to!

Curious... Has anyone....
I bought a onesie when we were in London in Sept b/c that's when we found out we were pregnant. Unfortunately, I m/c after we got back from the trip. I tucked it all the way in the back of one of my drawers and promised myself I wouldn't look at it again until we were pregnant again. I feel like that onesie has so much meaning for us and I can't wait to put it on our LO one day.
