Curacao
DH and I are thinking about going to Curacao at the end of April.. We were thinking of staying at Breezes bc it's all inclusive.. has anyone every been and could tell me what it's like??

I stopped there on a cruise many years ago and remember it being beautiful. I believe there's an aquarium there to that I went to, if I have the right island!

i went to Curacao 5 years ago ( I think) and we stayed at Breezes. Honestly I didn't really like Curacao. Breezes had just taken over the hotel and it needed some work. Our room flooded from a running toliet bowl. They moved us 2 other times after that because they needed the room they moved us to. IMO It isn't an island to wander much from the hotel. They have guards that walk up and down the beach with dogs to keep the locals out of the property. We stayed towards the end of the hotel and there was a barbed wire fence that seperated the hotel beach from the public beach.
It may have changed and gotten better from when I was there but I would pick a different island rather than go there.

Our cruise stopped there. It's a beautiful little island. The snorkeling is supposed to be phenomenal!

My sister has to go there every few months. She hates it there. My BIL said the people aren't always so nice and the island is boring if you are looking to do more then just the beach.
Sorry to be debbie downer but I just want to be honest.
I have heard it is beautiful though

we also stopped on a cruise stop and I remember it being one of my favorites. They have a floating bridge which is awesome and a buggy ride that you go all around the island!

I LOVED it! I've been to Aruba many many times (which is one of the ABC islands) and Curacao is so much nicer.
