cupcake favors question

If I make something like this, how do you steady the cupcake so that it doens't move around? I know I can use the insert on the other boxes, but I want to use the clear ones.

Re: cupcake favors question

If you use a big cupcake wrapper like the one in the picture, that would help so that the frosting doesn't get messed up.

If you use regular baking cups, not sure!

Re: cupcake favors question

they are actually wraps that go around the sides. I don't think they have a bottom. I think I need some sort of silicone. I think hot glue will melt the box.

Re: cupcake favors question

what about putting a small piece of double sided tape on the bottom of the cupcake wrapper so it wont move around but still easy enough to pull off?

Re: cupcake favors question

that's a good idea. i also saw some where to use a drop of royal icing on the bottom to make the cupcake stick. I finally found a clear box with a clear insert. thanks girls.

Re: cupcake favors question

In the example you showed, the cupcake is pretty big so it doesn't have room to really shift around. I would try to find boxes that are close to the size of your cupcake.

Party Atelier has a bunch of boxes that may work for you. The clear one they have is small enough for standard size cupcakes.
