For Chloe's 1st birthday party.

There's a bake shop down the street from my office that has sugary "sand", lips, hearts, happy birthday, etc...all edible.

If you're going for the basic recognizable to a child:

gummy bears (probably not for a 1 year old though)

Definitely going to do crushed oreos, candy confeetti and maybe mini marshmallows. I would love the little silver balls (dragees - sp?)

Were doing a cupcake theme. The colors are pink and orange. We are having 2 parties. 1 for friends at our house upstate (very small) and the other at my IL's for family. Both in february.

Im also thinking of having a signature drink. Some sort of pink juice with slices of oranges. Is this too silly? Especially for a casual family party?
