crust behind ear
My 11 week old DD seems to have built up some crust behind her ears, I don't remember my DS ever having this. What can I put on it to get rid of it?

It should just come off with water on a qtip. I little light pressure to get it off but also wet it it breaks up the crust. My dd would get this if i didnt constantly clean behind her ears when giving her a bath.

Re: crust behind ear
I sometimes need to use a little dab of baby oil on a q-tip to help it come off a little easier. If it doesn't seem to come clean, seems to peel or recurs, it may be an eczema or fungus, but more likely just a build up of dirt and shampoo.

Re: crust behind ear
I but baby oil on like 15mins before a bath and rub gently in the bath and then again when drying.

Just use a washcloth and warm water when you give baths.

Both my kids got this when they were small. A qtip with baby oil took care of it easily.

DD got this once or twice, despite me cleaning behind her ears in the tub with a washcloth. Aquaphor on a Q-tip with some gentle rubbing and the crust came off instantly.
