cruises
So this year we didnt get to go away together bc other things came up. Well next year I want to try to go on a cruise again. our anniversary is the end of june which is when we do our trips but I always know it is expensive bc it is the summer and school is out. If you can go anytime of the year out of say ny or nj when would you go that would be a reasonable price?

Re: cruises
May, September and October should be at least fairly warm and you should be able to save a few bucks and not have to deal with many kids. I probably wouldnt go any later than mid-late October as there is a good chance you will have at least a day or two of cooler weather. At least, that has been my experience.

Re: cruises
I have cruised out of NY in late May and the weather was fine.
I would love to travel during that time but I'm now tied to the school schedule.
September and early October are good options as well except for the hurricane threat. I got caught in that once; we sailed between hurricanes in 2004 and our sailing had multiple itinerary changes. We didn't really care - we just rolled with it, but if you have your heart set on certain ports you might not want to sail in the fall.
