Cruisers, would/did you take a double stroller with you?

We are looking into doing a Disney cruise.

Will there be any room to take our double stroller?

Our 2yo and 4yo still like sitting in the stroller and it is a nice way to go places.

I would not take a double stroller. It's a narrow hallway and I would think going down the halls to the rooms would be tight and getting in to the rooms you would have to fold it.

Honestly we took a 4 night disneycruise in April with my overly rambunctious just turned 2 year old and a 5yearold. I only used the stroller when we came on the boat.after we first went to the stateroom we never used it the rest of the trip.

I would bring a stroller if only for when you get off the ship but I think a single is the best choice. I will say I did see 1 or 2 people with doubles.

No way. You might get it through the doorways which are narrower. On our two cruises (celebrity not disney) we saw lots of strollers but all singles or front to back doubles. Webrought two umbrella strollerswe kept in the closet. Rooms are small enough without having a double.

Etd to add our 1st cruise the girls were 2 and 4. We used them to get on the ship and a little in Bermuda but only once did I use one on the ship. I omly used it for my younger one bc she had motion sicknessand found napping on deck helped our last day.

Definitely a single. A double would be a complete pain to get down the hallways, especially when the room stewards are out with their carts.

My friend took her double city mini on a cruise and had no issues (she has twins though and didnt have a single stroller option).

I would only bring a single. We went on a 3 day Disney cruise and only used the stroller in the airport and when we walked around one island - you don't need it on their private island at all. And the hallways are really narrow and the rooms are small, so I wouldn't bring it if you didn't have to.

Yes. Thinking back, you won't be able to pass if their cart is out bc my single just fit. Same for the last night when everyone has their luggage in the hall.

The problem is that if one kid sits in the stroller, the other one wants to sit in it as well. We would only use the stroller for land excursions and definitely not on the ship.

We have a single city mini and a cheap umbrella stroller.

Should we take both?

Or we could easily buy a second cheap umbrella stroller.

We are looking into the 7 day Caribbean cruise with excursions in the cayman islands and mexico.

When you get off the boat, I guess we could just jump in a cab to our destination.

The 2yo always wants to get picked up. 4yo is fine walking but will not be fine walking if 2yo is the only one sitting in the stroller. they will definitely fight to sit in the stroller!

If the Caribbean cruise goes well, I want to do the European one and I think we would definitely need a double to walk around European cities. No way my kids can walk around all day.

No way. The rooms are small and the hallways are tight. Just bring two really light weight umbrella strollers.

I bought a cheapy one up to like 35 or 40 lbs at bru. Then used my maclaren single. The city mini single is good but does it fold small? We had a huge aft family cabin but I wouldn't want anything big in the regular size cabins.

What about just getting one of the attachments that allows your 4 yo to stand on the back of your single? I can see it being a pain if you have to take everything out fold it and worry about 2 kids to get through doorways.

We had a regular balcony room on the dream (category 5d I think.) The city mini might be tight entering the cabin but it would fit with ease under the bed for storage.

Personally I think k the best would be two McLaren type umbrella strollers.
