Cruisers- Tell me about NCL Epic
For those who have been on it, is it really worth the higher price tag? Im looking into it for a babymoon...

Re: Cruisers- Tell me about NCL Epic
IMO, yes, it was worth it. We went on the Epic on our Honeymoon last October and it was wonderful. The entertainment on board alone is worth the higher price. I feel like the rooms were a little larger, too, but this was our first time in a balcony room. Still, I've seen them and feel like they were smaller and not as updated as they were on others ships (Dawn, Spirit, Jewel). The one complaint I do have is the food is EXACTLY the same as it is on every other ship. They have one or two new specialty restaurants, but mostly is the same as any other NCL cruise and that disappointed me. But like I said, for the entertainment- Blue Man Group, Jazz Club, Cirque Du Soleil (which is an extra charge, but go for the cheapest seats since the room is so small where the show is), the water slides, bowling, rock climbing wall, etc. It's worth it. The Ice Bar was also an extra charge but was really different and worth a peek. I couldn't stay in there very long, though, I was wearing flip flops and my feet were freeeeeeezing. I also liked on the Epic that the back of the boat (the adults only lounge/jacuzzi area) turns into a club at night. They had music and dancers and then on the 2-story big screen in the back where they played a football game so my DH loved it, too, lol.
