Crockpot help...please!!!
I want to make this....
CROCKPOT CHICKEN & STUFFING 8 points Servings: 4 Chicken and Stuffing 4 (6 oz.) Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 1 (6 oz.) Box Stove Top Stuffing Mix 1 (10 oz.) Can 98% Reduced Fat Cream of Mushroom Soup 1/2 Cup Water
Spray crockpot with non-stick butter flavored spray. In your crockpot, mix the cream of mushroom soup and water together. Add the dry stovetop stuffing mix (and seasoning packet if the seasoning isn’t already mixed in with the stovetop) and stir together. Lay chicken breasts on top of stuffing mixture, sprinkle some paprika and parsley on top of chicken for color. Put lid on crockpot and cook on low for 7 hours.
***The thing is, I leave for work at 7, and I would want it ready for 5:30....so therefore would put it on realistically at 10:30----my babysitter can plug it in for me at that time, but can I prepare it and stick it in the fridge?

Re: Crockpot help...please!!!
Doesnt your crockpot automatically turn itself to warm? I am new to the crockpot arena but I thought all the crockpots nowadays have this feature of turning themselves to warm so it is ready and waiting for you when you need it.

Re: Crockpot help...please!!!
sometimes we cut up the veggies, etc, the night before and leave them in the fridge
my crockpot automatically goes to warm once it's done cooking and will stay on warm until i turn it off.

Re: Crockpot help...please!!!
Wait so the chicken sits on top of the stuffing? It doesnt sit in any liquid?? It is going to be dry isnt it? Usually the chicken needs to be in some type of liquid in order for it to stay moist during cooking

You can put it on at 7am and then at 2pm it will automatically switch to warm and would be "warming" until 5:30p.
