yeah-- I saw this one... I never heard of the brand, so it makes me a little weary. Although that crib can come in ANY Benjamin Moore color-- pretty cool!

Stanley Young America does a line of cribs in colors. Everything from hot pink to grape to mustard to sour apple green!

just wanted to show you this, its the colors that Stanley has out...if you go to Behrs, theres green AND red on display, i thought they were both super cute, and normally it wouldnt even be my taste, i was impressed..

I know this place in Bay Shore that makes furniture. What if you had a crib made, and then paint or stain to the color you need?

I was going to suggest this also-get a "naked" crib and paint it the color you want-if you want it to match wood like you were talking about originally-start very light and add stain until you get to the color you want-or bring it to a professional

thanks for everyone's suggestions... I cannot believe how much of a PITA this is turning into.
Last night I stood in the room that will be the baby's room and looked around... I decided that as long as I get a light wood-- who cares.
I will look into a few more color options, but I think we are just going to settle on the Munire crib we liked.
It would have been so much easier, and a lot more fun, to just start a room from scratch!

Art for kids has GOREGOUES pieces. I was going to do a green from them that was distressed. It has like a gold rub on it. STUNNING!! I ended up going with this company called relics. They sell their pieces at ABC home in Manhattan. FM me for more info.

hmmm.. I don't work too far from ABC, and I also just got a card in the mail for a warehouse sale in Hackensack... I have seen some beautiful baby things there.
The Art for Kids stuff is gorgeous, but everything looks way more girl to me. This is my challenge-- gender neutral!
