Crib rail guards

my ten month old DD has 6 teeth and she pulls herself up in her crib and chews her rails - it looks like a beaver has been in there! Im worried about her eating the paint and wood and need some immediately to stop this situation. I know they sell crib rails, I just dont know which ones are the best? Any suggestions??

With DD I used the fabric rail covers as soon as I noticed her chewing on the crib rail. They worked great and we had no issues for the next year or so she was in the crib. Now with my DS (who is a maniac btw ), he hangs and pulls on them until they come off (they are secured by velcro) and then just keeps chomping away on the crib. My crib looks awful now .

I know they have ones that you can stick to the crib but I didn't want to use them since I had heard they could peel the paint/damage the wood of the crib.

My DS did the same thing, I went into his room and there was brown all over his mouth and turns out he chewed the rail on his crib! 1 rail got it really bad with his teeth. I bought the same cloth rail guards listed above, at BBB.

I was just going to post this but searched. Most recommended the cloth ones, but someone on an old thread said Ikea has $3 ones. Idk what type they are (stick ons or what?) and I cant find them on their site. I need 4 the way my girls cribs are set up so at $20 ea for the cloth

ETA- looks like ikeas were discontinued.

I use one by crib wraps. They are just like the ones posted above but without the toys. Works like a charm. They tie on and have never had an issue and my dd loves to pull things apart lol

thank you all so much! My DH just went out and found the cloth ones at a store by our house. now if only I knew about this before her beautiful crib was eaten!

I got those plastic ones and DD got her little fingers caught underneath. Then I got the Gummi ones, and they worked great. Yes, they stick on, but to get them off, you just use a hair dryer, and they peel right off without damaging the finish on the crib.
