crib issues
okay - my son has been in his bassinet and sleeps wonderfull... right thgough the night - it is so great. He is almost 6 months old and we decided it was def. time to move him to his BIG crib ( it looks so big when he is in it :) ) know he wakes up three to four times a night crying. one of us goes in there and comforts him and gives him his pacifier and then he falls back to sleep. What are we doing wrong? Should we let him cry? I have tried that for about 20 min. but he just keeps crying and it kills me. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: crib issues
He may just need time to get used to his new room and crib. I would keep going in and comforting him (I can't let DD cry it out even though I want to sometimes). I'm sure he'll get used to it soon. DD has been in her crib for two months now and I still get up 1-2 times a night to put her paci back in her mouth. Good luck.

Re: crib issues
we're in a similar situation. DD sleeps pretty well in her swing but has never ever fallen asleep in her crib. Sometimes we can rock her until she falls asleep & slip her in the crib without her knowing, but as soon as she wakes up she screams. I've tried CIO but I can't let her go more than an hour (she's 4 months). Some people have told me that she's just not ready for the crib yet & to stick with what works for now. I'm just afraid that at 6 months, she'll still be in the crib.
I have no idea how to get her used to the crib. She hates it!
