crib bedding ?
so as far as i know, you don't actually use the blanket the beddibg set comes with... is it worth it to even register for a set, or should i just pick out everything seperately (sheets, dust ruffle, bumper) whats everyone doing?

Re: crib bedding ?
I was actually against getting a bedding set because they cost so much, i think its crazy. Not to mention i didnt really fall in love with anything that BRU had to offer.
I registered for everything seperately but later eneded up falling in love with a complete bedding set that Wal-Mart had online, the best part....its only $40 so i picked out sheets and everything else that would match.

Re: crib bedding ?
If you really like something, I would register for it & see if anyone gets it for you.
We didn't get our bedding set from our registry so we ended up buying separates after the shower

Re: crib bedding ?
because eI will use a breathable for this baby I chose no set. Just a dust ruffle and sheets. I found the bedding set to be waste of money with my first.

If you don't use the blanket, I guess you don't cover the baby with anything at night? If you don't use the blanket, I'm going to just get the accessories also.

Re: crib bedding ?
Im planning on getting a whole set and using the comforter to drape over the back of the glider (we're getting an upholstered one) to decorate it a little and carry the bedding theme over to the glider. Then i will use the comforter to put on the floor of the babys room when the baby will be getting "tummy time"

Plus you can use the big blanket as a wall hanging or if your crib turns into a toddler bed as the blanket for the toddler bed.
We registered for a beautiful set and it was one of the first things purchased off our registry and one of the best gifts we got b/c wouldn't have bought it on my own.
