No it is stationary, but I am short (5'2") and dont have a problem reaching in it to take care of the stuffed animals. It also turns into a toddler bed and then a fullsize bed.
I got it at Fortunoff Baby, but I have seen it elsewhere. It's by Legacy and comes in different finishes.

I am getting the bella crib from Bellini in the dark word finish. I don't have a pic, but the one posted right before me is the same crib just in a different color.
