Credit scores
Is it better for your FICO score to have a credit balance split up between 2 credit cards instead of one being basically maxed out? Does it make a difference at all? Thanks!

Re: Credit scores
I would THINK it would be better to have a balance split...because I believe maxing your credit out on a card shows lenders that you will eat up a limit given to you as opposed to keeping it lower.
BUT i'm not an expert..
Creditboards.com have helped me tremendously over the years to rebuild my credit when i was young and stupid...they have great advice!

Re: Credit scores
Your utilization would be better split up on the cards for your dealings with the card companies. I believe when they look at your fico and such it looks at your amount on cards and your total utilization. Go to Credit Boards Forum . They will answer any questions for you and teach you how to raise your credit score.
