Does anyone know of any good web sites where you can create a slideshow and set it to music?

www.rockyou.com if you just want to make a quick one. Or www.onetruemedia.com if you want to make something a little fancier.
ETA: I like onetruemedia a bit better, because you can download your own songs.

if you have windows xp, why don't you try windows movie maker or photo story (may require download from micrososft)

This is what I would use if you're looking to burn a dvd or play it for someone. Very easy to use. Free download.
I use One True Media if I want to share the slide show online. I have one in my profile if you want to check it out.
