Crawling and related milestones... (late crawlers in particular)

So, Sasha can now get to her belly from a sitting position, and get to a sitting position from her belly. She is rocking and on her knees a ton-- but still, no freaking crawling-- aside from the pushing herself backwards all over the place, but it's not really crawling, just pushing.

When did your babies do those other things, in comparison to when they crawled?

I feel like she keeps adding new skills into her wheelhouse, but is still not doing the major one!

I keep feeling like it's gonna happen any day now-- but, I am still waiting. Her evaluation is actually a week from today.

She'll be on the go in no time.

Just as a "comparison" Samantha started army crawling around 9.5 months, pulling up to stand 10.5 months, full fledged crawling about 10.5 months as well (closer to 11 months). She is currently cruising. HOWEVER, she has NO clue how to get from belly, or crawling position into a sitting position. She can go from sitting to crawling, but not the other way.

Don't stress out about it, trust me, I've been there, she WILL crawl.

My ped said he wanted DS to crawl too, even though it is not a milestone, and he did, but not until the weekend he turned one.

He was always better with fine motor skills, speaking, etc, and of course, he caught up with the crawling/walking, just like Sasha will tooChat Icon

I know she'll catch up-- I am just wondering when it will happen already!!!

The anticipation is killing me. I know I am in for a rude awakening when she is on the move-- it's really pretty easy since she stays in pretty much the same place most of the time.
