crate and barrel? quality/protection plan?

Thinking about purchasing a kitchen table from crate and barrel. It's a little out of my price range but I'm willing to do it if the quality is good. Does anyone have a table from there? How is the quality? Do they have some sort of protection plan?

I should know this answer ...I worked there part time for two years! Most liked if this is a high priced table its from their furniture department which does offer a protection on the products. Not a warranty you pay extra for but if there is something wrong with the table I'm almost certain they'll work yo get it fixed. If its a scratch they're not sending a new table. Go into the store and speak to a furniture specialist. They can give you so much information on furniture care and the services they can offer after your purchase.

I have a lot of the ready to assemble furniture and other products and so far haven't had any problems.
