Cramping... first trimester
Okay, I got my BFP a week ago, and if I did the math right, i am probably about 4 weeks pregnant (my cycles are very long).
I have been feeling crampy for the past two weeks. It's focused on one side, but it can be all over too. it's not agonizing, but definitely noticeable. is this typical? I am not too worried as I have not been spotting or bleeding, but just curious if this is common or should I be worrying?

Its normal. Your LO is implanting and at the same time your uterus is ALREADY growing and making room for baby!
Keep well hydrated and enjoy the next 9 MOnths!!!

Re: Cramping... first trimester
It's normal. I had light cramping probably up until about a week ago. (I'm in my 9th week now)
If it's concentrated to one side and they're pretty bad then I would call the doctor because that could me an ectopic pregnancy, but it sounds like your cramps are completely normal so try not to worry unless you start to see some blood or your doubled over in pain.

Re: Cramping... first trimester
I had bad cramping through out my first and second trimesters. Now at 23 weeks, I finally don't get much cramping anymore. Just make sure you drink alot of water.

Totally normal! It could be dehydration, so drink lots of water. I asked my doctor what is considered normal cramping, and she said unless I am doubled over in pain or it is accompanied by bleeding, it should be fine.

Re: Cramping... first trimester
Very normal. I cramped well into my 2nd trimester. The cramping is stretching, and then for me, that turned into round ligament pain (which is also stretching).

It's normal. I had a lot of cramping, pain and stretching throughout the first trimester. Many times, the pain was on one side.
