Cramping
I will be 8 weeks on jan. 4th and ever since I got my BFP I have been having some cramping. There isn't any spotting, is this normal? Anyone else feel this? I'm a little worried.

Re: Cramping
I recently had laproscopic surgery, so that is the cause of a lot of my painful cramping, but in general I have a lot mild cramping with this pregnancy. A lot of it is related to not drinking enough water, I believe. My doctor told me as long as I don't have red spotting/bleeding or severe pain, I shouldn't worry too much.

Ok, I'm drinking about 50oz of water a day. Is that enough? Thanks!

Re: Cramping
There's a lot going on in there. Your uterus is already stretching to make room. As long as it's not severe and/or accompanied by blood, it's totally normal.

That's what I figured but it always feels good to hear from someone else

I have heard that 64oz is recommended, but I think 50oz is pretty good. On average I get about 32oz in, and on a good day I get 48oz of water in.
Before becoming pg I was only drinking about 16oz and before TTC I drank a lot of iced tea because I really dislike drinking water.

Re: Cramping
I have been having period like cramping since the beginning. My dr says its normal and fine as long as there's no bleeding.

Re: Cramping
I have cramping on and off and it definitely scares the crap out of me each time. My doctor told me the minimum I should be drinking is 64 oz. but would like me at a gallon a day whenever possible.

Cramping
I was cramping in the beginning and at 6 weeks I had some bleeding. Everything was perfectly fine and I'm 34 weeks now!

Cramping
I'll be 6 wks tomorrow and I have also had cramping. I asked my RE about it last wk and she said as long as it wasn't severe and I wasn't bleeding than it was normal. She said 25% of women experience this.

Re: Cramping
I believe you and I are about the same (I'm 5 weeks today), and I had some pretty bad cramping earlier this week. No bleeding or spotting though so that's reassuring (I had spotting with my last pregnancy at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks and that didn't end well). I would take it as 2 things- dehydration and your little one nestling into your uterus! As little as they are right now, they are already making themselves known lol
