Re: Cramping
I think it has to do with how they feel not necessarily how frequent they are... From what ive heard...cramping can be normal throughout pregnancy. They say its your uterus expanding.

Re: Cramping
I had a LOT of cramping early on (for about the first 8-10 weeks I'd say). As long as it's not accompanied by bleeding, I'm sure everything is fine! Severe cramping *could* be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy, but that's certainly less likely than it being just a normal part of being pregnant!

Re: Cramping
Its pretty normal as long as it is not accompanied by pinkish spotting...its your uterus stretching to make room for the growing baby...I used to get this a lot and it used to freak me out! Make sure you drink a lot of water! 64 oz. (at least) a day!

Re: Cramping
I had it almost every day for a while in the beginning...I'd say up to 15 weeks...not really painful, but enough to make me really uncomfortable..Like AF cramps I guess. And since then I have a day here and there that I'm crampy but not as bad as the beginning.

Re: Cramping
I am 9 weeks and i have had cramping on and off the whole time. They are never too painfull...just sort of feel like AF cramps. Some days they are frequent, and then I'll have a few days where I don't get them at all. I think it's normal.

And since then I have a day here and there that I'm crampy but not as bad as the beginning. Same here, except I had it well into my 2nd tri. I also had spotting in the first tri, so that is not always sign of something bad (although mine was due to a placenta previa).
My Dr said that if the cramps became severe enough to "knock the wind out of me" or if I could not stand or walk straight to call her.
If you are concerned the best thing to do is talk to your dr about it. (S)he can give you more specific guidelines.

Re: Cramping
I had fairly regular cramping from week 4 until about week 9 or 10.
Make sure you drink lots of water. Staying hydrated helps.

Re: Cramping
I had cramping every day from the week before I missed my period until 2 weeks after which was about weeks 3-5 or 6. Then it stopped.

Re: Cramping
I have cramping too. I had it in the beginning then it went away for a week or two. Now I am at week 10 and it definelty is back. Feels like AF and annoying. I called my DR and she said to drink lots of water and rest. That doesn't really make me feel better...... Glad to see however that I am not the only one.

Re: Cramping
I had a good amount of cramping, I told my Doc so she checked my progesterone levels, which were low, and gave me supplements.
Cramping lessened after that
