Cramping!
Ok so i'm almost 36 weeks (Sat) and today on and off i have had period like cramping. Its weird because it only lasts like a second and then comes back a little later..I called the doctor and eh was like why don't you come in so I can examine you but I dont want to waste his time or mine (since I'm at work) What would you do????

Re: Cramping!
My doc said this was normal and nothing to worry about. But, of course, see your doctor if that will make you more comfortable.

Re: Cramping!
I just posted that I started having period like cramping the past 2 nights only, not really during the day..
I think I will try to wait till my appointment Monday..
I wonder if I'll be getting these cramps each night?

Re: Cramping!
I probably wouldn't go to the dr. but that's just me - unless the pain was really painful and continuous for awhile.
Every time I feel a pain DH tells me to call the dr. and I have a feeling that all of these pains are just your body getting ready to have the baby. I usually drink lots of water and the pains go away.
But again, totally your call - if you'd feel better going to the doctor then you should go for peace of mind.

Re: Cramping!
with my first i called the dr for every pain because i wasn't sure what was normal.
this time around i said i wasn't going to call until the head was out. lol
cramping is very normal. Time the contractions. Walk and drink some water. If they go away its just BH and your body preparing. IF they don't, then I would call.
