My family Golden Retriever is in complete remission (THANK GOD), but they are continuing w/ the chemo treatments anyway (it's necessary because this kind of cancer comes back w/ a vengance). I saw him yesterday and it broke my heart to pieces. He was happy to see DH and I, which was great, but he was having a hard time getting up and walking around. He went to the vet today to get a treatment and they looked at his leg and said they don't see anything "significant". However, he is still not himself and the treatment they gave him today is supposed to be really heavy duty and can make him sick. Could I ask that Bailey be in your thoughts today.
