cough medicine dosage
DS's Dr. said it would be fine to give him cough medicine before bed because the coughing is keeping him up. The problem is, all of the cough medicine labels guve dosage directions for kids over 4 or 6. I bought Pedia Care that says 1tsp for kids 4-5 years old. Should I give DS less then that? He's probably not much smaller then some 4 year olds. He weighs 36lbs if that makes any difference.

I would call your pedi and ask, the dosage is usually based on their weight.
