Couch
What type of couch would you put in a small basement playroom. Just want one but long. Regular, Chaise, reclining, pullout sofa, etc. any recommendations?

Re: Couch
Do you have a guest bedroom? If no, then a pull out sofa.

Re: Couch
This is a little easier and lighter than a pullout sofa.
If you have a TV, you may want something with a recliner though. Fouton sofa sleeper

Re: Couch
I would recommend a sofa with a recliner not a pull out couch. More comfortable to sleep n then a pull out sofa.

Re: Couch
I honestly hate futons and sleeper sofas. I find them so uncomfortable. And in a playroom, I worry kids will be pulling them out and get hurt. I'd do a regular couch, no recliner, and just get a blow up mattress for guests.

Re: Couch
We have a couch with a chaise and then a separate loveseat that converts to a twin bed. Honestly, I have 4 kids, no adult wants to sleep at my house! It's only kids that ever sleep there!

Re: Couch
Whatever you get, just be sure you have the room to get it downstairs!
We have a futon that lays flat so it can be slept on.

I slept on one of these once - literally the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. I’d just get a regular deep couch. We have one in our living room and I’ve taken naps on it before. So much more comfortable.

we have the friehten (spelling?) sofa from Ikea for our basement. the bottom pulls out and pops up like a trundle bed and the whole thing becomes the size of a full bed, so any full size sheets fit perfectly

Those actually look comfortable. Or as comfortable as any trundle bed would be. But they are expensive!! At least the ones I've seen.
