cost of day care
what is the going rate for the cost of day care for 3months and up
also where do you send your child?
I am in Selden, work in Commack
any recomindations will be great

In Eastern Nassau, we found $280/week or so. Tutor time, kiddie academie were my top choices in my area.

will places still take the child even if it for 2-3 days??
or do they have to go for 5 days?

$195/week for 3 days a week (extended hours)
$260/week for 5 days a week
don't know centers in your area but was happy with tutor time in syosset. he's at a smaller, local one now.

Tutor time has a part time program but not sure for an infant. It was not really that much cheaper. Something like $20 less a week

This is my latest project....So far I have called 2 places. One is $250 per week and the other was $375 per week.

As I've posted in the past I know other people who use this place and are happy (they are teachers if that matters). The child care council is also in the same building which I'm sure is a good thing.
