Cosco Scenera car seat install ?

We just purchased a Cosco Scenera as a second seat for my mother's car but my husband is really having trouble getting it tight enough. He installed our Roundabout no problem but cannot get this one in tight, no matter what he does.

I plan on getting it checked but can't get there until Tuesday. My mother watches her tomorrow but probably won't need to take her in it, but just in case of emergency, I'd like to get it in there.

Any suggestions??

You have to pull the latch strap towards the inside of the seat. If you're installing with a seat belt it can be a little more involved.

When you go to have it checked, make sure you pay attention to how it's done. It's a great seat for a backup/travel seat but there is a bit of a learning curve for installing it, especially if you're used to Britax.

Also, when checking for tightness, check ONLY at the belt path (where the latch strap goes through the seat) for less than 1" of movement side to side and front to back.
