Cord Blood banking
With DD we did the cord blood banking and now my hubby thinks that we should not do it for DS due in may. Am I over reacting by feeling guilty about not doing it for our second child? I keep thinking what if we need it and DD and Ds are not a match so what we have stored cannot be used.

Re: Cord Blood banking
You can't use your own cord blood. So, DD will lose out. Maybe he'll feel differently if you present that to him.

THIS!!
I know it's a huge expense and depending on your financial situation you may just not be able to do it, and that's perfectly understandable. However, if you can do it, the blood from your DS would be there for your DD. Your DD would not be able to ever use her own cord blood if one day it was needed.
When we decided to bank, we knew that we would bank for each child or none.

Re: Cord Blood banking
Was in the same position. We were on the fence about banking for this baby. And after thinking about it we felt so guilty that we banked for our dd and wouldnt be for our ds that we decided to bank for him as well. My in laws helped with the cost cause it is pricey.

Im sorry, I'm VERY confused at what you both are saying. What it seems like is:
DD is banked.
DD CANT use her OWN blood.
DS (new) could use DD blood.
DS (new) could give his blood to DD.
Then there is this:
