Cord Blood Banking
I have been lookng into cord blood banking, specifically ViaCord and CBR.
Anyone have any feedback on either company? TIA

We went with Viacord. Got a good price and we were impressed with their storage and collection methods as well as their research.

I have not banked cord blood due to pricing but I heard viacord was good...
we are planning to donate cord blood if we qualify this time around. At least I know there are cord blood banks are around if needed, and since we cant afford to store it I feel alot better about donating.

We used CBR with DS and will be banking with them for #2 also ...We had a good experience with them the 1st time, and were impressed with them when we were interviewing back in '05 for my DS- I honestly can't remember the specifics on what sold us on them but I know I was happy with their storage facility location...

I used CBR. I chose them because wannabemom did and she does so much research that I figured it would be a safe choice!

I did Viacord for my first pregnancy and already signed up for my second.
There is a referrel bonus if anyone wants to do that to get the benefit of it!
