copper ceiling tile backsplash?
Does anyone have those pretty copper ceiling tiles as a backsplash? Can you post pictures? Are they very $$$$?

I do not have them but I seen one in homedepot and lowes that ate plastic, but look real, they look awesome, they were our second choice

but if the backsplash goes behind the stove, plastic isn't a very safe option... it really has to be something that can't melt / catch fire...
my mom had copper tiles as a backsplash years and years ago.... they were simple satin-finish squares and and were an easy DIY project (sick up like laminate)

I posted to you not too long ago that I have them, with pics. I'll have to dig them up again. Mine are matte copper, but they have them in tons of colors and patterns. They're really not very expensive.
We got ours from www.americantinceiling.com.

laurabora -- how is the maintenance on this? Is it annoying to clean? The ones at Lowes are themoplastic and say warm soapy water to clean....any problems so far??

ok, just curious as i don't want to offend but the colors in the first pic just don't flow. maybe it is because it is a closeup but something is off colorwise. can't pinpoint it. um, 2 different wood colors ???

yeah, the weird countertop and contrasting cabinets create a look I'm not too keen on either, but the backsplash is great!!!
My mom has it in her new kitchen, no tild backsplash needed!

They might be photos from show rooms to show different cabinet options... the second photo i think also have different cabinet colors as well.... the top cabinets are different from the bottom ones...

Sorry, just saw this!
Maintenance is so easy. You literally just wipe it down if there's ever a mess on it. I hardly ever have to do anything to it, honestly.
