$5k for us. It was on ground level (NOT in a basement for both boiler and under ground tank ) and called a fairly easy installation.
We also don't have a separate water tank and don't have a tankless water hearter either.

It all depends if you have gas on your street. Did you check?
If the gas is not on your street, they charge $75-100 per foot to run the gas line from the closest street that has it. Expensive!
