Converting DVDs to UK/Ireland format

Looking to send copies of my wedding video to my friends/family in Ireland. Would like to take my wedding DVD to some type of photo/video place and have them convert it to the type of DVD that will play over there. (Their DVDs are coded differently and ours won't play over there).

Can anyone recommend a place that can do this for me at a reasonable price? Locations in western Nassau is preferable but I'll take any suggestions.

TIA!!!!!

ETA: I am being sneaky... my videographer said he could do this for me, but I don't feel like dropping $80.00 EACH for it... Do you think it's possible he could have the DVD blocked from copying?

Nowadays they make many DVDs that have an easy crack code for the region, especially if t is a cheap DVD player. I forget what region I am in, but I found a crack code for my DVD and I can play all my American DVDs no problem. Also you can change codes on a laptop.

We've converted tapes over there before. Never had it done here.

If any of them have a portable DVD player they can watch it. I think they might even work on their laptops.

A lot of DVD players for sale here now are multi region format, they might just play on their DVD players, if not, they might play on their computers.

thanks alll....

any suggestions on places though to get it done. Some people that I want to see it don't have laptops or a computer and I can't guarantee that it will work on their DVD player.

I don't know if they can convert, but try Berger Brothers or Cameta Camera in Amityville. If they can't, I'm sure they can suggest a place that can do it.
