Convertible carseat-how old?
I have an appt tomorrow to have DS convertible car seats installed in my car and DH. We are definitely going to do it for DH's car, but I am having second thoughts and may hold off for my car. DS is still in the infant carrier and although it's getting heavy, it's still SO convenient. He's 10 months, so I'm thinking 2 more months and that will at least get me through the winter. WWYD?

If he still fits in the seat then I would stick with it. Definitely easier...We switched DS right before 9 months because we were going away. And it was July and he was hot in the infant seat...

We just swtiched DS and he is almost 6 months. I really wish I could have kept it longer but he has met both the weight and the length limit. If he had not, I would have kept him in longer because it is SO much easier with the cold weather

I would check the height and weight requirements on your seat. My DD was 1/4 inch away from the max height at 9 months.
