Convertible Car Seats
DH and I are going to have to get a convertible soon. Im torn between two. One is the Graco4Ever and the other is the Evenflo Symphony LX. They both have the same safety ratings and features but the Graco is $299.99 and the Evenflo is $169. Is the Graco really worth the extra money? We're going to have to buy two and were in the midst of moving so the difference in price is really appealing.

different models but we have the $70 evenflo & the $220 ish graco convertible - not the 4ever.
the evenflo is easy to use on a daily basis and very light.
the graco has more features and is WAY easier to move from car to car.
I like having one of each for these reasons, but unless you take a lot of trips and such, i'm not convinced that there is a need to pay the big bucks for a car seat.

I don't have experience with the EvenFlo but we have the Graco 4Ever and LOVE it. We used the 20% off coupon for it.

The symphony does not make Car Seats for the Littles list of recommended seats. It's outgrown more quickly than the 4ever and is a bulky seat.
I have the 4ever and it's great. I definitely got mine for under $299. You might be able to find some great deals between Black Friday and cyber Monday. Other options to look into are the graco milestone and graco extend2fit 3in1.
