Convertible Car seat
My DS, who is almost 5 months, is out growing his infant car seat. He is in the 97% for height and 90% for weight.
What are your recommendations for a roomy convertible car seat that doesnt take up a massive amount of space? I drive a prius, which is not overly spacious in the back.

Re: Convertible Car seat
I love my Britax but rear facing, it takes up a ton of space. My friend has a Evenflow Symphony 65e. She loves it and said its smaller than the Britax.

Convertible Car seat
I have an evenflo symphony 65 and drive a 4door Chevy caviler. Rear facing I have to put the passenger seat up a bit, but I am 5'5" and fit somewhat comfortably. My dad and DH are 5'10" and while they are a bit crammed, they can survive for short trips (45-60 min max I would say)
The seat itself goes up to 45 pounds rear facing, 65 pounds forward facing with the harnesses and up to 100 pounds as a high back booster . the headrest is adjustable so even taller kids wont grow out of it quickly, amd it expires 8 years after manufacture date, so you definitely get your monies worth!! It's not an expensive seat either. It's easy to install and the straps are easy to adjust too.
