Conv. Crib Question
In your opinion, is it worth it to get a convertible crib that the child can grow with or should I invest in a durable crib that we can use for our next 2-3 children (obv as long as safety requirements were met)? TIA!
ETA: I know it's very early but I am just trying to figure out the major expenses for the future!

Re: Conv. Crib Question
I couldn't find a crib that didn't convert into at least a toddler bed.
That being said, we got a crib (I believe it was $129) and it only turns into a toddler bed. I had no desire to spend a ton of money so my little child could have a full or queen bed.
Once he outgrows the toddler bed, we will buy a twin.

Re: Conv. Crib Question
We bought a convertible. I wanted to only have to buy 1 bed/crib to last him.

Re: Conv. Crib Question
We bought convertibles for both DC. All of their furniture matches each other, we don't have any extra furniture (except for the extra pieces, but I may use them for something.....). No more buying furniture as long as DC live with us. No timing issues (what if DC #1 isn't ready for a toddler bed when DC #2 comes?).
For us, it just made sense to get convertibles.

Yeah ITA about the full/queen bed for a small child. $129 would be fabulous. If you don't mind me asking, what brand is it? Would you recommend any other inexpensive brands for furniture?

Re: Conv. Crib Question
We bought a convertable...my thought is that when DS #2 needs a big boy bed we will get him one, and then child #2 will get his crib and use this until he/she gets married. I think our crib was $500 - 20% at BBB. But it was worth it I love it!

I believe it is Jenny Lind crib. I got it at BRU, they still have it.
Unfortunately, I don't, my DS' furniture (which all matches nicely) was hand-me-downs from a family friend
