Contractions only at night?
The past few nights for about an hour or so I have been waking up with cramping. Sorry for the tmi but it feels like gas pain or as if you have to go to the bathroom but can't.
Are these contractions? I have read it feels like af cramps but I don't get cramps with af and with my first dc the epi was amazing and I felt nothing.
If these are contractions then why am I having them only at night? I am 37w 1d...is labor coming soon?

Contractions only at night?
With my 2nd and third I had mild contractions for up to an hour or two for weeks before real labor. With my third, they often came around the same time. They didn't progress/dilate me until much later on. (I did have a fastand easy labor when it was the real tthing)

I've been having some cramping also at night. After I drink something they go away. Could you be dehydrated?

thats what i was going to say... that happened to me almost every day in the last week of pregnancy

I think I am a big water drinker but maybe I need more now towards the end? I will ask the dr on Thur but thought I would get your opinions first.
