Contractions...
Hello all, I feel stupid but people have been starting to ask me if I have been having contractions, I am due in 2 days and I have to be honest with them and say - I don't know what one feels like, so I don't know if I have been having them. I did a search on here for contractions and I feel so much going on these last few stages I don't know what is what anymore!
with that said , I do have 1 question - does the baby move with contractions? I feel her moving and then I think maybe it was a contraction - I have no clue!

Re: Contractions...
It could be the baby, if it is a real contraction the baby is being squeezed.

Re: Contractions...
I really just don't know, nothing is consistant, so I highly doubt it is contractions!

Re: Contractions...
For me, Braxton Hicks felt like mestral cramps. Once you start having contractions, you'll know...there is nothing else that feels like them. It kind of feels like your middle is being squeezed.

Re: Contractions...
One way to easily tell the difference between Braxton Hicks and real contractions is real ones are consistent. They get worse with each one (with Braxton Hicks one will hurt and the next one will be so so), and they don't stop hurting or slow down when you change positions.
