contraction?!?!
I'm 19 weeks tommorow. I have been feeling an occsaional tighetening in my uterus, but today it is much more noticeable. Not painful, but somewhat uncomfortable. It feels like eveyrhting gets very tightand then stays that way for like a minute or so.
Normal? Or not normal?

their braxton hicks they are normal but if you are having more than 5 an hour I would call you dr. Drink lots of water this helps

i had that feeling early on.. i forget how many weeks.. and i was not drinking enough water..i ended up going to hospital for 'contractions' ?( lots of tests later, an iv, showed i was just not drinking enough- it was not bad enough for me to pass out or anything but enough to cause "contraction like feelings" .. drink water ( not juice or anything - water!) let your dr know too if in case

Well I felt like I had like 10 in 20 minutes, but I drank so much water I might as well live in my bathroom and it seemed to stop. plus my DH basically told me I was being stupid and we had a fight. awesome day.
if it comes back, I'll call. Blah, I really hate being pregnant, I'm already an anxious person and this just makes it worse. I don't want to call all the time and be the annoying crazy lady, but still.

glad it went away after water. I am the annoying crazy lady. I am pretty sure every time I hang up with the dr office they think "thank goodness we ain't her kid's pediatrician! "
