Constipation from starting solids
Ds just started solids and was ok with cereals. As soon as I intro veggies, he got constipation. I gave him prune juice and went to softer veggies but his bowel movement still seems to bother him. Did this happen to anyone's dc?

We had the same problem, i felt so bad. Applesauce seemed to help a bit.

Yes, my DD had the same problem. She honestly had on-and-off constipation for a couple of months. We tried so many different things to help it; it was heartbreaking. What seemed to help for us was: prunes mixed with pear juice, pears, and Earth's Best makes a Sweet Potato Apricot that makes her poo within a half hour. Now that she's 1 and started whole milk she has the opposite problem...diarrhea, ugh!
My friend's DD had constipation, and she put karo syrup in her cereal every day...ask your doctor about that if all else fails. Good luck!
