confused about bottle weaning & table food- help please!
DS is on 4 bottles a day, drinking 26 oz a day. What's the best way to wean bottles...one at a time or all of them cold turkey? I'd like him completely off by 13 months.
He's 10.5 months so I was thinking of getting rid of 1 bottle now & a 2nd at 11 months & just giving his formula in a sippy. But if he doesn't drink it all, do I just bring the bottle back? or give him more table food tomake sure he's full enough?
Another thing is that his first bottle is at 6:15am. He is still sleepy during that bottle & I put him right back to bed after he eats it & then he wakes for the day at 8am. How will this work when I cut that first bottle? I can't imagine giving him table food(cereal) & him starting his day at 6:15am- he's a zombie!
If your DS is entirely on table food, is the feeding schedule the same everyday as it was with bottles? How many times do you feed them a day? lol
