Confession time

It's 10 1/2 weeks since Grace was born and we still haven't had sex. Its awful and I know it ruining our marriage but I am too tired at night and have no desire.

Any one else not have sex immediately after getting the green light? Please make me feel better

I did not want it at all. I got the okay at 4 weeks..I threw myself into it thinking once I got started I would remember that I did enjoy it.

2 weeks ago, I finally wanted it again. I was in NY, baby was asleep by 8:30 ever night, I went to sleep at the same time. no cooking, no cleaning, no waiting up for DH...just sleeping. My mojo came back in an instant. I got home, and everything was different. I think it was the sleeping.

Its hard...I can't believe the way my stomach looks. I am definately more reserved with my body. I have a really hard time taking my shirt off.

You can say it's 10.5 weeks but you've only been able to for 4.5 weeks. It does take time for hormone levels to adjust. I would cut yourself a break on this unless it continues.

I think it does take time to get back into the swing of things. It probably goes without sayiing that you should mention it to your ob/gyn if it does go on.

Thanks girls- Its killing me that I don't want to- I so love my DH. I really think its my body image. I miss the old me.

We all miss the old us. Sometimes you have to take one for the team.

It probably took me months, maybe even six months. We may had done the deed once in the six months after she was born.

i am 10.5 weeks pp and only did it once, too. and it kind of hurt a little too the first time! and i was afraid - i had a c-section.

It took us longer than that before I even wanted to go near him in that way.
He has to understand what your body just went through. Talk to him

It was 11 weeks for us. I was just not comfortable and we did try twice but I was to scared. Then one night I said let's try and it felt so much better when I iniated it as opposed to him. Use some sort of luberication and just take it slow or maybe have your DD go to someones house for a date night.

I have very little desire to also. We waited longer than we needed to and even then I only gave in because I felt DH needed it. Are you BFing? I learned at my new moms group that BFing moms just don't have the desire due to the hormones. And my dr told me that we need extra help in the lubrication department due to hormones from BFing as well. I know that being so incredibly tired all the time is a huge factor for me. I hope it will get better soon.

You are not alone. Im 9 weeks PP and still have not done anything either.
I had a c section and am a little nervous.
To top it off, AF arrived so now even more, there is hardly any desire.
